Monday 16th July 2012
Arrive Cape Town International Airport. Meet and greet by Festival organisers then transfer to choice of hotel in Central Cape Town for 7 nights stay on B&B basis.
Coach available for afternoon leisure or practice then early dinner (own account) at V&A Waterfront.
Tuesday 17th July
09.00 Coach available for own use.
1 hour astro practice facilities available at Hartleyvale Stadium.
Suggest trip to Table Mountain (weather permitting – cable car ticket to own account).
17.00 Opening Ceremony of 2012 U18’s Cape Town International Schools/Clubs Festival.
Evening coach transfers back to hotel for dinner with other international teams (meal to own account).
Wednesday 18th July
Full day of Festival matches – 2 matches per team.
Transport provided to all matches.
Evening coach transfers also provided.
Thursday 19th July
Full day of Festival matches – 2 matches per team.
Transport provided to all matches.
Evening coach transfers also provided.
Friday 20th July
Full day of Festival matches – 2 matches per team.
Transport provided to all matches.
Evening disco and buffet included with transport.
Saturday 21st July
Festival rest day.
Full day Cape Point excursion to include a boat trip to Seal Island, Chapman’s Peak Drive, entry to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, and finally Boulders Beach to view the famous penguins. (lunch own account).
Return to hotel for pasta evening (meal to own account).
Sunday 22nd July
Finals day – 1 match per team.
16h00 Festival presentations at Hartleyvale Stadium followed by Closing Ceremony of 2012 U18 Cape Town International Schools/Clubs Festival.
Evening at leisure with transport provided.
Monday 23rd July
After breakfast depart from hotel for last minute shopping at Canal Walk Shopping Centre then onto Cape Town International Airport for homeward international flight.
Tuesday 24th July
Early morning arrival home.
